    This is a delightful read that makes you believe in true love. Love doesn't care if timing is right, your heart cares about true love. Owen is swooning fabulous and Isla is a fiercely independent woman we all want to be more like. I enjoyed every page.

    A sweet and fun chemistry-filled friends-to-lovers story, with the most gorgeous hero, this is a great read, and I loved it!

    This is the second book in the Berkeley Hills series, and is the story of Isla, sister of Becca, from Second Chance at Us (which I adored). There is some character crossover, but this book can absolutely standalone.

    Isla is a successful bakery owner, and one of the best bread makers in San Francisco. But her personal life implodes when her millionaire boyfriend is caught cheating on her by the paparazzi. She’s not devastated, since she had been looking for a way to end the relationship, but she’s embarrassed and furious at the betrayal. To add to her mortification, she has a complete meltdown in front of her most loyal customer, and kisses him in a moment of hot chemistry and not a lot of forethought. But it’s a spark which changes everything between them, and I was right on board for what was to come.

    Owen is a hotel owner who has built his business in to a bit of an empire. But even though he’s a busy man, he still manages to visit Isla’s bakery every morning, coming in before opening time and watching her at work before leaving with his hot loaf of bread. She thinks he’s there because he’s a bread lover, and while that is true, he’s also biding his time until he can make his move on the beautiful bakery owner. And as soon as they share that kiss, it’s all on.

    Isla and Owen have fantastic chemistry, but from her perspective, the timing is all wrong. She is just getting out of an unsatisfying relationship and trying to find her way back to herself, and she doesn’t want Owen to just be a rebound. And not only does her business keep her busy, but her plans for expansion are under threat from a secret competitor and she is distracted trying to figure out who has it in for. So Owen comes board to help her save her business, and they become friends… who kiss… and who eventually have hot and steamy sex that is all kinds of sizzling.

    It’s fun, sexy, natural, and so, so easy. The relationship between Isla and Owen is effortless, and over coffee, dinners, roadtrips and more, they slip into becoming a key part of each other’s lives. But while Owen is all in, Isla is determined to keep them as friends with benefits, even though she’s falling for him just as hard as he has already fallen for her.

    I adored Owen. He’s sweet, fun, funny and caring, and he wears his heart on his sleeve for Isla. She is confident yet stubborn, which does create some issues for them, but Owen’s persistence in being there for her and proving how amazing they are together kept me fully invested in their story.

    There is some drama as they figure themselves out, and there are some angsty and frustrating moments, but of course, true love wins, and there’s a gorgeously happy ending and an epilogue which finishes the story off beautifully.

    Isla’s large family are a part of the story, and the dynamics between her and her siblings are so much fun – especially when Owen is invited into the fold. I loved seeing the group together, and I’m excited to read more about them, with Sara’s book up next.

    I really enjoyed this book. It’s just the kind of easy and natural chemistry-filled romance that I love, and I loved watching these two find their HEA.

    This was just okay. It was pretty much impossible for me to get into the story and stay there. I put it down and came back to it so many times that eventually I just had to skim a little. It felt wordy and drawn out a lot of the time. To me, it seemed like a lot of the story could have been condensed down. The characters themselves weren't bad, but I didn't get Owen's feelings towards Isla. It's said that they've never had a conversation that wasn't about bread (at the beginning), but he already knows that he really likes her? That's just weird to me. I can't speak to most of the story, like I said I skimmed, but they do get their HEA. This was a first for me from this author, and although I wasn't a huge fan of this one, I would give her another read.
    I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.

    Falling for You is a good book about a self made billionaire, he owns multiple hotels, who has been frequenting a bakery, not only because the food is great but he likes the owner. Owen and Isla are acquaintances at most, until he has a front row seat to a humiliating moment in her life. He still shows up every day and supports her. They become friends, even though they kiss.
    He knows what he wants and that is her. He has never felt the way he does when he is with her. He truly believes that he can be patient until she sees the potential they have. She really likes him, but is coming off of finding out her boyfriend of a year has been cheating on her. She decides to give her relationship with Owen a label at every turn. Not only is she protecting her heart, but she doesn’t believe she can move on that fast.
    I really liked Owen and how he stood by her. I didn’t like how he handled the situation with his sister but found the parallel of the relationships in his life to be very eye opening. I was glad he finally admitted to Isla how he was feeling and walked away when he determined he was still just a friend. Even though he was hurting he still did the right thing when he found out some pertinent information.
    I appreciated that she was a strong woman, but her attitude annoyed me at times. Yes, her ex treated her horribly, but she had wanted to break up with him so pushing Owen into the friend zone didn’t make too much sense to me. Also, her even contemplating going into business with her ex was a little bit of a head scratcher to me. Her relationship with her family is nice and I liked seeing them at their family dinner.
    Overall, I enjoyed this book and would recommend it. I can’t wait to see what happens next with these siblings. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest, voluntary review.
